The Name UL intrigues every one wondering what it stands for! The Company started in the year 1995 derived its interesting name from the Co-founders, Mr. Uday Jadhav and Mr. Lalit Sahani initials – ‘U & L’.
UL Group started as a Distribution Company, U L Electrodevices Pvt ltd. Considering technology as the base and strategy to promote products on basis of application, UL group succeeded in not only reaching various renowned business houses within India but also attracted many overseas companies to extend their partnership support. Today UL Group is an associated partner/ distributor to almost sixteen renowned European and American companies.
Having realized the potential of various products and applications, UL Group got into Value additions and in the year 1998 had a manufacturing unit in name of U L Automation Systems Pvt Ltd. The Company started offering various value added products like Relay modules, PLC specific wiring solutions, CNC interface cards, Cable harness, customized solutions. Today UL group sits on healthy basket of more than two thousand designs of cards and cable solutions suitable for various leading systems like Honeywell, Siemens, L&T, Rockwell, Invensys, Emerson, ABB, Yokogawa, GE, Fanuc, etc.
Customer is the best teacher for everyone and things for UL Group were no different. An idea from one of customers to utilize the strengths of Distribution and Value addition and offer one solution as wired cabinets, in the year 2003 gave birth to the forward integration company UL Systems & Controls India Pvt Ltd. All the activities of manufacturing Marshalling Panels, System Cabinets, and Panels for Machine tools, Wind power, turbine excitation and importantly custom built solutions became the part of healthy range to offer. Today UL Group are having State of art panel manufacturing facility following all the best possible Quality processes, successfully audited by Global users and are regular suppliers to Honeywell, Alstom, Wind power companies , etc..
To support the need of usage of all the product basket UL Group had to offer to their customers in various Industries like Process, Power, Water, Machine Tool, Wind, etc. UL Group felt the need of having an Engineering Services Company. They converted the need into reality and started in the year 2008 the Engineering services & formed the company UL Engineering Services and Software Pvt ltd in 2009.
